Before returning your vehicle, a few simple steps will ensure a smooth process. Here’s what to expect:

LEASE MATURITY CALL
Our Volvo Lease Manager will reach out as your lease maturity date approaches. This is a great opportunity to schedule a pre-inspection and discuss whether you’d like to keep your current Volvo or upgrade to a new one.

INSPECTION CALL
You’ll receive a call from our trusted inspection partner, AutoVIN Canada, to arrange a convenient vehicle inspection. This can take place wherever suits you best — at home, at work, or at the dealership.

VEHICLE INSPECTION
Once AutoVIN Canada has assessed your Volvo’s condition, a Vehicle Inspection Report will be available online within 48 hours. If any repairs or maintenance are needed, we encourage you to complete them before your return date. If you have Volvo Financial Services Excess Wear & Use Protection, this process is even simpler.

RETURNING YOUR VEHICLE
Please schedule your return appointment in advance to review your vehicle’s condition and confirm that any necessary maintenance or repairs have been addressed. You can also settle any applicable excess wear and use charges at this time.

WEAR AND USE
To help determine whether any marks or damage are within acceptable limits, you will receive a Volvo Financial Services Vehicle Condition Evaluator.
